Cross-border 100 people and Baosen Santong jointly went to France, the Netherlands and Germany for business inspection

From May 29 to June 8, 2024, Hangzhou Cross-border Hundred People Club and Baosen Suntop went to France, the Netherlands and Germany to carry out a cross-border business exchange trip.

Driven by the wave of globalization, cross-border e-commerce is welcoming unprecedented development opportunities. Recently, a cross-border e-commerce business delegation jointly organized by Hangzhou Cross-border Hundred People Club and Baosen Suntop embarked on an 11-day business trip to France, the Netherlands and Germany in Europe.

The purpose of this trip is to gain a deeper understanding of the European market. Eyrie, deputy general manager of Baosen Suntop Hangzhou, and Susan, business development director of Baosen Suntop Netherlands, assisted in arranging this business trip. This event is not only a cross-border business exchange, but also a rare opportunity to deeply experience and gain cutting-edge insights into the European e-commerce market.

DAY 1-5-Paris, France-Rotterdam, Netherlands

On the first day, the delegation arrived in the romantic city of Paris, France; on the second day, they visited the e-commerce platform Rakuten and observed the operating model of European e-commerce. Afterwards, they visited world-famous attractions such as the Louvre and Notre Dame de Paris to experience the profound cultural heritage of France.

Later, from the third to the fifth day, the Baosen Suntop team, the leaders of the Hangzhou Commerce Bureau and the Hangzhou Cross-border Hundred People Business Delegation jointly participated in the Fourth China-France Cross-border E-commerce Forum and the seminar held at the same time; and visited the European Valley Business District to experience the scenery of Paris.

DAY 6-Rotterdam, Netherlands

After a few days of intense and fulfilling itinerary, the delegation members had a preliminary understanding of the European business market and cultural customs. On the sixth day, the delegation arrived in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and the Baosen Suntop Netherlands Overseas Warehouse was one of the destinations of this inspection trip.

With the enthusiastic introduction of Mr. Jerry, Deputy General Manager of Baosen Suntop Netherlands, the delegation visited Bosen Netherlands Overseas Warehouse, where they could see the professional warehousing facilities and equipment, as well as the digital operation and standardized management of the one-stop overseas warehouse. During the visit, they also visited local electrical appliances, textiles, and department store chain stores to learn about the local market.

DAY 7-Rotterdam, Netherlands-Arnhem, Netherlands

A lecture on legal affairs and taxation made the delegation deeply realize the importance of financial and tax issues in export business. Ms. Chen Jie from the Netherlands Sunocheng Law Firm gave a wonderful sharing at the lecture. The lecture also specially invited Ms. Yang Hui, Chairman of Baosen Suntop Group, and Ms. Tian Tian, Customs Clearance Manager of Baosen Suntop Netherlands.

Among them, Ms. Yang Hui, Chairman of Baosen Suntop Group, shared her views on logistics compliance and customs clearance, and deeply analyzed the pain points and difficulties encountered by Chinese companies in exporting. Then, the delegation visited the Zhejiang Netherlands Chamber of Commerce. The activity specially invited Mr. Wang Jianguang, the famous overseas Chinese president of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce. The president had an in-depth exchange with everyone, which also allowed the delegation to have a clearer understanding of the development of Zhejiang cross-border enterprises in the Netherlands.

At the dinner, everyone talked about cooperation and shared exotic food in a harmonious and warm atmosphere.

DAY 8-Duisburg, Germany

During the trip, the delegation came to Duisburg, Germany, and visited the Duisburg government. They were warmly received by Mr. Lu Haige, director of the Duisburg government office. Mr. Lu Haige introduced the geography, economy, and investment hardware and software environment of Duisburg, and the two sides had a pleasant exchange on the investment landing.

Ms. Yu Kai from the Duisburg Commerce Bureau even went to the tea break site of the delegation despite being ill to communicate with entrepreneurs and answer questions about investment issues.

At the same time, Baosen Suntop specially invited Mr. Ying Haixin from PKF Tax Company to introduce the tax situation in Germany.

In addition, Ms. Zheng Wenyu from the German law firm of Aung Sing Baida gave a comprehensive introduction to German corporate law.

Then, the delegation came to the German overseas warehouse of Baosen Suntop. The warehouse was clean, the goods were numerous, and the on-site operation was orderly and efficient. Finally, everyone strolled along the Rhine River to experience the local fashion and romantic cultural atmosphere, and ended the day's itinerary.

DAY 9-11-Frankfurt, Germany-return

As the trip was coming to an end, the delegation visited Cainiao Frankfurt Overseas Warehouse and German retail giant Kaufland hypermarket. As a global cross-border heavyweight logistics company, Cainiao's high-standard operation of its overseas warehouses is a "feast for the eyes". The Kaufland hypermarket gave everyone a deep understanding of the current situation and development trends of the German retail market.

This trip to France, the Netherlands and Germany not only allowed the Hangzhou Cross-border Hundred People Club delegation to personally explore a cross-border "secret realm", but also to understand the infinite possibilities of the development of cross-border e-commerce. This inspection was not only a cross-border exchange trip, but also a trip to explore the new cross-border trend.
